Who is Sea Rae Photography?

I’m Rae, a freelance photographer living in the stunning backdrop of North Wales. Growing up, I always had a love of animals and the outdoors and I’m glad to say I now have a way to express that professionally. I love capturing candid moments whether that’s of people or wildlife.

In the beginning I learnt photography through the British Army and had several images from that time published in various news outlets and even won a competition for one of my photos to have a spot in the Soldier’s Charity Calendar 2022. I also filmed and photographed prominent political figures during this time.

After I this, I continued my photography as I travelled through Southeast Asia, using my skills to document my time volunteering on wildlife conservation programmes including The Perhentian Turtle Project in Malaysia and the Huay Pakkoot Elephant Community Foundation in Thailand. When I wasn’t shooting conservation photos, I thoroughly enjoyed the travel aspect of photography, documenting village life in a remote Karen Hill Tribe that I lived in for 5 months.
